Wokingham Quakers

Welcome to our Meeting

Our Meeting House is close to the centre of Wokingham.

On Sundays, about ten people meet in Quaker worship. There is no programme or leader: anyone who feels called to speak may do so, but often Meetings for Worship are largely silent. All are welcome. There are hot drinks and a chance to talk to people after the Meeting.

Children are always welcome. Do let us know if you are going to bring children, and we'll make sure that there are suitable activities for them.

Details of Meetings for Worship and other upcoming events are in the calendar below. Dates when there is a special Meeting for children in Reading are also shown.

Wokingham Meeting House has wheelchair access. There is a hearing loop in the Meeting room, and an accessible toilet.

Come to a Quaker Meeting for Worship to find:

  • a place where you can be still
  • an opportunity to increase your spiritual awareness
  • a community of support and friendship
  • resources to learn and reflect
  • time to deepen your faith.

On Sundays: 10:30 to 11:30
