Growing our faith community

Berkshire & Oxfordshire Regional Meeting of Quakers met in Reading, and we welcomed our new Local Development Worker, Moya (pictured (R) with Naomi, our Area Meeting Clerk).  

Our Development Workers will be cultivating plans with Quaker Meetings and groups to aid participation, inclusivity and leadership at a local level.

This work will enable Quakers to further build and develop our community, explore and act on our values and priorities, and use our business processes more effectively and in ways that are spirit-led.

The work will help strengthen connections across areas, between different parts of our central organization and between Quaker communities and the work of Britain yearly Meeting and learning centres such as Woodbrooke.
