Reading Quakers

Welcome to our Meeting

We meet for Quaker worship at Reading Quaker meeting house on Sundays. There is a linked online meeting. There is no programme or leader. Anyone may speak if they feel called to do so, but often Meetings for worship are largely silent. New people are welcome.

Children are always very welcome. Some weeks there is a meeting specially for children to come with their parents or carers. Ages range from infants up to teenagers.

Full details of Meetings for Worship and other upcoming events are in the box and calendar below.

Our Meeting house is close to Reading’s busy town centre, and has wheelchair access throughout. There is a hearing loop in the main meeting room and an accessible toilet.

Come to a Meeting for Worship to find

  • a place where you can be still
  • an opportunity to increase your spiritual awareness
  • a community of support and friendship
  • resources to learn and engage with the world
  • time to deepen your faith.

On Sundays: 10:30 - 11:30, linked in-person and online

Use the 'Contact us - other enquiries' email below for details of how to join the online meetings.
