Eco event at East Garston Meeting House

East Garston Meeting House was very pleased to be part of the first Green Weekend in the Lambourn Valley between Friday 28 April and Monday 1 May 2023.

The Meeting House hosted a series of eco talks, a scything demonstration in our wildlife garden, a plant and seed swap and a bee buffet sign making activity to encourage people to mow their lawn less.

The Meeting House has kept up a wildlife information display to remind visitors of how much we need to increase our biodiversity and habitat especially for insects and pollinators.
