Quakers under the swastika

Our Quaker History Group heard a moving and informative talk about ‘Quakers under the swastika’ given by Leslie Wilson. We heard what it was like to be one of the very small, about 250, group of German Quakers during the Nazi period. Leslie spoke about how they managed under a regime which regarded pacifism as a capital crime and whose actions were so contrary to Quaker testimonies.
