Supporting child refugees
Several Maidenhead Quakers attended an evening about supporting refugees, at Maidenhead United Reformed Church. We heard that a teenager stuck in the Calais ‘jungle’ for ages was now on his way to join his brother in London, assisted by Safe Passage – a charity that unites refugee children with loved ones in the UK.
Maidenhead Quakers have decided to collect for this charity throughout April. Find out more about the work of Safe Passage here
