Queer Quakers

Reading Quakers had their first stall at the town’s annual LGBTQI+ Pride, with five of us and a visiting Friend from Hampshire bearing testimony to equality. Quakers have been acting on a concern for the rights of sexual and gender minorities for decades, and we were the first faith group in the UK to marry same-sex couples (Quaker Faith & Practice).
