Pericles – All at Sea
In this production from multi story theatre, a pair of story-tellers evoked a world in which a young girl was sold to a brothel; in which conflict and famine were devastating parts of Syria, Lebanon and Turkey; in which a fisherwoman found bodies tangled in her nets; and in which the kindness of strangers saved those in peril on the Mediterranean Sea.
Once again, it was a real privilege to have Multi story theatre (Bill Buffery and Gill Nathanson) put on a production at Reading Quaker meeting house, and answer a wide range of questions from the audience of 40+ people at the end.
