“Moments out of time”
The annual Quaker Mental Health Forum is coordinated by Alison Mitchell, Mental Health Development Officer, and supported by the Quaker Mental Health Fund. This year around sixty friends from all over Britain, including three from Mid-Thames Area, gathered online and in person at Birmingham Bull Street Meeting House.
The theme was “moments out of time”, and we shared our concentrated experiences of beauty, harmony, meaning and understanding, asking how they shape and uphold us? Those attending shared together in worship and heard prepared vocal ministry from speakers, had space to discuss, and join in reflective workshops.
This year was Alison’s last forum as she is stepping down from her role; she is pictured above with Martin Edis, of Wallingford Quaker Meeting.
