Fox@400

This year marks 400 years since the birth of one of Quakerism’s founders, George Fox.

As part of the celebrations, some Quakers from the Mid Thames Area attended the annual Quaker Studies Research Association conference at Lancaster University and online.

Speakers from the UK, USA and Kenya presented their ideas and research papers focusing on the life, times and legacy of Fox.

Participants enjoyed a field-trip to Preston Patrick, a place of great significance in Fox’s spiritual progress.
