Considering prayer

The Minster Church of St Mary the Virgin, Reading, hosted the interfaith event ‘Dialogues on prayer’, which was well attended by Quakers, Hindus, Muslims, Jews and Methodist and Anglican Christian.

We shard together:

• What prayer means to us, personally, and in the context of our faith communities
• The necessity of prayer, who it is for, and how it can help our spiritual progress
• Our experiences of religious objects to aid prayerfulness, such as beads, icons, and liturgical texts
