Didcot Quakers

Welcome to our Meeting

Quakers meet for worship in Didcot on Saturdays. We don’t have a Meeting House, but use a room in the Civic Hall.

There are usually around six people at our Meeting for Worship. Quaker worship is principally silent, but anyone who feels called to speak may do so. It is always valuable to reflect on such ministry. After Meeting we have tea and biscuits with time to socialise and get to know each other.

Everyone is welcome, including children. Do let us know if you are going to bring children, and we'll make sure there are suitable activities for them.

Details of Meetings for Worship are in the calendar below. Dates when there is a special Meeting for children in Reading are also shown.

Come to a Quaker Meeting for Worship to find:

  • a place where you can be still
  • an opportunity to increase your spiritual awareness
  • a community of support and friendship
  • resources to learn and reflect
  • time to deepen your faith.

          On Saturdays: 10:30 to 11:15
