Henley Quakers proclaim the climate emergency

As part of Henley’s Great Big Green Week, Henley Quakers had a stall in the market place on Saturday 25 September. We invited passers-by to sign postcards addressed to Alok Sharma, MP, who will be president of the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow in November. The printed message on the postcards urged him to achieve success through urgent international action. Many people took the opportunity to add their own message. We’ll deliver the postcards (over 200) to Alok Sharma’s office in Reading West, his parliamentary constituency.
