The Bundle – a theatre performance

Bundle flyer - edit2 jpg_opt

Journeymen Theatre present their new play – The Bundle, based closely on the  real story of Adilah, a Chechnyan refugee to UK. Subject to domestic persecution and denial of human rights in her own country, she escapes and finds a home in UK only to encounter the Home Office’s ‘hostile environment’ with regard to asylum seekers and refugees. Moving from the tradition of folk story to biting satire, it charts  Adilah’s bid for freedom, safety and hope.

Age range: 16 +

The Bundle has been commissioned by QARN Quaker Asylum
Seeker and Refugee Network)

Friday October 27th, 7:30 pm, Reading Quaker Meeting House, 2 Church Street, RG1 2SB

There is no charge for performance but  donations are welcomed
for organisations working closely with asylum seekers and
